Chief PSP Mustafa Kamal demands arrest of worker Habib’s target killers

Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal condemned the targeted killing of PSP local leader Abdul Habib, a party worker and the candidate from the Sindh Assembly’s PS-122 constituency.

Speaking to the media, Kamal demanded the immediate arrest of the suspects and facilitators involved in the shooting of Habib, who was also a member of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
Various other PSP leaders, including Asif Hussain, reached the hospital where Habib was brought and offered their condolences to the bereaved family.
Separately, police said they had found a KCCI membership card on the deceased’s body.
Five to six bullet marks were found on the late PSP leader’s car, they mentioned, adding that the gunshots were from two 9mm pistols.
According to investigative sources, four suspects on two motorcycles had come to shoot Habib.
They were wearing casual clothing pants and shirts and two of them had helmets on.
Geofencing of the crime scene, as well as forensic testing and samples, were to be collected, the investigative sources added.
The closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from any cameras installed in the surroundings of the crime site would also be recovered and used in the investigation.
